Dental treatments and operations would be unthinkable without anesthesia. But like all drugs, painkillers and narcotics are not without side effects. Anyone who has stood next to themselves after anesthesia will be able to empathize with the patient in the following video.
The young man was given anesthetic after a car accident so that his thighbone could be straightened. But the drugs not only relieve the pain, they also loosen his tongue, as the video his father recorded shows. That makes for an embarrassing moment when a nurse walks in to check on the patient.
